How to apply pictograms
Waste pictograms ensure easier and more correct sorting of waste. Use either colored or black and white pictograms with the recognizable symbols from the common waste system.
There are some simple tips that are good to know to achieve the best result.
Download templates for applying pictograms
Download the template and print it. You can use a few pieces of tape to secure the templates so that you can easily move the template again.

Step 1
Store the pictogram at room temperature (approx. 20 degrees) for 24 hours before applying.
Step 2
Clean the surface of the waste bin where the pictogram will be placed.
Step 3
Mark on the waste bin where the pictogram will be placed. Use our templates if necessary.
Step 4
Remove the sticker by grabbing one of the corners and carefully pulling off the back of the paper. Make sure to hold onto the corner of the sticker firmly.
Step 5
First place the two upper corners of the sticker on the surface of the waste bin.
Step 6
Use your fingers or a scraper from top to bottom to make the remaining part stick. Always make sure to press from the center and out towards the edges to avoid air bubbles.

Step 1

Step 3
Mark on the waste bin where the pictogram will be placed. Use our templates if necessary.
Step 4
Lay the pictogram on a flat surface with the visible text facing up.
Step 5
Rub over the text while pressing with your fingers or use a scraper to make the letters stick better.
Step 6
Peel off the back of the paper and first place the two upper corners of the adhesive on the surface of the waste bin.
Step 7
Use your fingers or the scraper from top to bottom to make the remaining part stick. Always make sure to press from the center and out towards the edges to avoid air bubbles.
Step 8
Make sure the adhesive is firmly attached before removing the rest of the paper on which the pictograms are attached.
